John Givens Farms
For more than 40 years, John Givens Farm has been growing some of Santa Barbara’s freshest, most flavorful produce — and we’re proud to feature their harvest right here at Tri-County Produce.
Grown just down the coast in Carpinteria, these avocados come from small, family-run groves that have long been part of the Central Coast landscape. Many of these farms are modest in size, focused on quality and care over scale.
Grown just off San Marcos Road in Santa Barbara, these Valencia oranges come from a small, family-run farm rooted right here in the community. It is a simple setup. Local land, carefully tended, producing fruit that speaks for itself.
Grown just minutes away in Hope Ranch, these Meyer lemons come from a small, family-run property tucked into one of the most local growing pockets we have.
Based in Ojai, Watkins Butcher Shop is a fourth-generation family operation, working as both rancher and butcher. They raise their animals and handle the craft from start to finish, keeping quality and care at the center of everything they do.
Based in Cuyama, SZ Ranch is a family-run operation led by Steve Zaritsky, who has been raising animals with care and intention since 2001. His approach is simple. Do things the right way, and let the quality speak for itself.
Grown just down the coast in Ojai, Ojai Pixies are a true sign of the season. These small, easy-to-peel mandarins come from family-run orchards tucked into the Ojai Valley, where warm days and cool nights bring out their signature sweetness.
Just up the road in Buellton, Sunrise Organic is a family-run farm led by father and son Jesus Salas and Chuy Salas, alongside partner Andrew Gibson. The farm first took root in Carpinteria, where the Salas family built their approach around hands-on farming and a commitment to organic growing.
Founded in the late 1970s by former aerospace engineer John Givens, the farm began on a single acre and has since flourished into more than 180 acres of certified organic farmland across the Central Coast. From tender greens and juicy tomatoes to crisp melons and colorful root vegetables, their produce fills our shelves and your tables all year long.
